Part of the work of art is the work of art, that is, the labor, process and methods of production–sometimes the work on work is
sufficient as work.  Simply showing the work, another strategy–can be seen as Ann Hamilton makes visible her hand. But another method is in redefining the work: redefining what is “office,” what is official; what is studio and where to be studious.
