Newly established arts organisation, Carbon Arts, brings the Cross(x)Species Adventure Club to Melbourne, Australia. Launched in New York earlier this year by Natalie Jeremijenko (celebrated environmental artist) and Mihir Desai (molecular gastronomist), the Cross(x)Species Adventure Club is an ongoing lifestyle experiment; a supper club for humans and non-humans to explore a tasty, biodiverse future. Each Cross(x)Species event explores our gastronomic, economic and material interdependency on other intelligent and delicious creatures with a heady mix of art, food and science. Designed as a taster to whet the appetite, the Melbourne event will take you on a cross species journey with three edible cocktails that are delicious and nutritious to both humans and nonhumans. The cocktail event will be held on 2 December and preceded by a workshop for enthusiasts of molecular gastronomy and interdisciplinary art. Places are strictly limited. Bookings essential.
